What is the Re-Action® System?

The Re-Action® System is an upgrade for your bow-mounted foot controlled trolling motor that gives the foot pedal Two Throttles, a new operating mode called Re-Action® Mode and a generational advance in trolling motor control.Read More ->

Two Throttles means seven advantages over current trolling motor models.

The Re-Action® System is an essential tool that eliminates propeller cavitation noise, doubles your trolling time, and provides incredible boat control, even in wind gusts and river current, so you can focus on fishing and catch more fish.

Controlling your boat with a trolling motor on a calm day is relatively easy with the angler’s attention being divided about 90% for fishing and 10% for boat control. Wind gusts and river currents that repeatedly force the boat out of position or off course demand more of the angler’s attention. Now the angler’s attention is divided 50% for fishing and 50% for boat control and that’s where frustration takes hold and it becomes a battle with the elements. The Re-Action® System makes boat control such a reflex, you’ll learn to love fishing in wind and current and you will catch more fish. If a buddy tells you that he has half a mind to go fishing, he’s probably right. Tell him about the Re-Action System® and put his mind at ease.

Momentary - Constant - Re-Action® Mode

Current trolling motor models offer two modes of operation, Momentary (On/Off operation) and Constant (continuous operation). Each trolling motor mode has advantages and disadvantages, with anglers normally choosing one or the other.

Now, there’s a new mode available! The third mode is called Re-Action® Mode. Re-Action® Mode is a combination of the best features of Momentary mode and the best features of Constant mode. Now anglers can have the ability to quietly crawl along a shoreline, weed bed or structure, like a handheld trolling motor, with both feet on the deck. When the angler wishes to bump ahead, counter a wind gust or correct for river current, he or she simply presses on the foot pedal Tap Switch for more thrust, like Momentary mode on a cable steer trolling motor. When the angler lets off the foot pedal Tap Switch, the trolling motor drops back to the selected crawl or trolling speed.

Tight spots, fishing near docks and boathouses call for Momentary mode’s On/Off operation. No problem, now you can select between Momentary mode and Re-Action® Mode with a foot tap of the “Mode Selector Switch”. No more reaching for the Selector switch, just press the new “Mode Selector Switch” with your foot when you wish to change modes.

Two Throttles: Seven Advantages.

  1. Two Throttles = Two times the focus on fishing as boat control is twice as easy in wind gusts, boat wakes and river currents Read More ->

  2. Two Throttles = Too quiet: No more cavitation means the fish won’t even hear you coming. Stop Scaring The Fish! Read More ->

  3. Two Throttles = Two feet on your boat deck: No more back busting back and leg fatigue from long days on the foot pedalRead More ->

  4. Two Throttles = Two times longer running time from your batteries. No trolling motor starting currents means longer battery life.Read More ->

  5. Two Taps = Momentary mode or Re-Action® mode. Now change modes on the fly without reaching for the selector switch. Read More ->

  6. Two Throttles = Two times less stress on your trolling motor and mounting hardware. No more creaks and groans from your motor mounts and less wear and tear on your motor armature means long life and less service costs.Read More ->

  7. Two Throttles = Auto Steer Piloting systems just got too easy. In wind and river currents, no need to throttle up and down to maintain boat control. Just press the foot pedal tap switch for more thrust on demand.
