Bass fishing has never been easier!

Momentary mode (On/Off) is perfect for tight spots around boathouses, docks and structure as long as you use don’t cause cavitation (Prop Blast). If the wind or current requires more than 25-30% throttle, then switch to Re-action® Mode. In Re-Action® Mode you can choose to:

Momentary behaviour:

Set the Low Range Throttle to Idle the trolling motor at a very slow speed, not enough to move the boat but, Don’t Stop The Prop! Now set the High Range Throttle for the amount of thrust you would need for the given wind, river current or bump ahead speed you desire. Now you can run the trolling motor the same way you would in Momentary mode but without cavitation noise and without draining your trolling batteries. If you need to stop or go back to Momentary (On/Off) operation, just press the Re-Action® Mode Switch on the foot pedal and you’re there.

Slow Crawl Like A Hand Held

The quietest way to fish for bass is a slow crawl along a shoreline, weed bed or structure similar to a hand held trolling motor. Set the Low Range Throttle to a slow crawl for flipping or casting along weed beds, structure or shoreline. No need to stand on the foot pedal, get both feet on the deck for better balance. This slow crawl allows both anglers parallel access to the shoreline, weed bed or structure as the boat slowly crawls along. In Re-action® Mode, you can set the High range throttle to the desired amount of thrust required to bump ahead, fight wind gusts or river current and when you need more power, just press and hold the foot pedal Tap Switch for an instant increase in thrust. When you let off the Tap Switch, the trolling motor returns to the Low Range Throttle setting. If you want your boat to move along the edge of a weed bed, structure or shoreline at a faster pace, just dial up the Low Range Throttle a little higher. You don’t have to reset the High Range Throttle, it automatically recalibrates for you each time you adjust the Low Range Throttle.

Current/River Fishing

Fishing on rivers is easy when you set the Low Range Throttle for slow slipping, holding in place or desired crawl ahead speed. Now to fight wind gusts or current grab on the bow of the boat, set the High Range Throttle for the amount of additional thrust required to compensate for the opposing forces. When the wind gust or current try to force the boat out of position, just press the foot pedal Tap Switch for an instant increase in Thrust. No more distracting throttling up and down, just press the foot pedal Tap Switch for more thrust. With Two Throttles, it’s easy to keep your boat in position, without distraction. Now that boat control is a reflex, you can stay focused on fishing.
