Introducing the Re-Action System Upgrade for your MotorGuide® Tour series trolling motor.

The Re-Action® System Upgrade for your trolling motor, provides a new mode called Re-Action® Mode, that provides a generational advancement in trolling motor control. Re-Action® Mode offers the best features of Momentary mode and Constant mode at the same time by introducing the advantages of Two Throttles. Two Throttles allow anglers the ability to idle, hold position, slow crawl along a weed edge or shore line, or troll at a desired speed with the Low Range Throttle (Main Throttle). Then when wind gusts, boat wakes or river currents demand more thrust to maintain the boat's position or heading, or the angler wishes to bump ahead to the next spot, he or she simply presses the existing foot pedal tap switch for an instant increase in thrust, up to the High Range Throttle Setting. When the angler lets off of the foot pedal tap switch, the trolling motor returns to the Low Range Throttle setting. This in effect is like operating in Constant mode but without the distraction of having to constantly throttle up and down. Re-Action® Mode lets anglers operate their trolling motor nice and quiet with both feet on the boat deck like a hand held trolling motor, but now they can instantly speed up to the High Range Throttle setting for more thrust on demand, like Momentary operation, but all in the same mode.

The new Mode Selector Switch is a foot switch that is installed so the angler can select between Momentary mode and Re-Action® mode, on the fly, at the tap of a switch. Now there is no need to reach forward to change from Momentary to Constant Mode or to select High Bypass, just press the Mode Selector Switch and your there, hands free like a foot pedal should be.

How does the Re-Action® System connect to my trolling motor?

The Re-Action® System Upgrade components are installed directly into your existing Tour Series foot pedal by an authorized Re-Action® System service center. The Re-Action® System upgrade is installed into your trolling motor foot pedal in about an hour and the trolling motor can be left right on the boat. It's that easy! Imagine Two Throttles, seven advantages and now you can fish and stay focused, even in wind gusts, boat wakes and river current.

The benefits for Tour series operators are outstanding:

  • Two Throttles means two times more focus with incredible boat control in windy conditions and in water current.
  • Two Throttles means too quiet with the elimination of the prop cavitation associated with momentary operation above 25% - 30% throttle settings.
  • Two Throttles means, two feet on the deck and less back and leg fatigue after a long day fishing.
  • Twice the running time from your trolling motor batteries.
  • Select between Momentary mode and Re-Action® Mode, on the fly by pressing the Mode Selector Switch on your foot pedal. No more reaching for switches to change modes.
  • Reduced stress and longer life of your trolling motor, mounting brackets and deployment hardware.
  • Now you have the best features of momentary and constant on modes combined into the 'Re-Action® Mode' ¦and 5x better boat control!
